David Listhaus, LCPC is the director of Calm Mind Therapy Center. David is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. David has experience treating child, adolescent, and adult clients in multiple settings including University Counseling Centers, outpatient substance abuse clinics, outpatient mental health centers, and community-based care. David’s clinical experience includes the treatment of individuals suffering from ADHD, Addiction, Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression. David’s clinical approach begins with the establishment of a safe and supportive environment in which clients' unique backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs are honored and respected. David believes in taking a tailored, eclectic approach attending to each individual’s needs, and helping clients identify and attain their goals for treatment.

Chanya Resnik, LMSW

Chanya Resnik, MSW,  is a dedicated social worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. Chanya's journey in the field of therapy has provided her with a significant understanding of the importance of support systems, relationship building, and acceptance. With experience in motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), crisis management, and family therapy, Chanya has honed the skills necessary to help adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges. Her clinical background includes valuable experiences such as interning in a Baltimore City school to promote healthy social-emotional development and training at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center in crisis intervention and Advance Care Planning. Additionally, she holds certifications in Screening & Brief Intervention (SBI) for addiction support, Supporting recovery with medication for addiction treatment (MAT), and the Strengthening Families Program (SFP).


Chanya is deeply passionate about empowering her clients to develop resilience and discover the path to emotional well-being and personal growth. Her passion is to provide therapeutic support and also to impart the essential skills that can help you become precisely who you aspire to be. Together, Chanya will help you navigate the complexities of life, fostering healthy relationships, acceptance, and personal transformation.

Sori Spiegel, BT, MS in Clinical Counseling Candidate

Sori Spiegel, BT, brings extensive experience working with students from elementary to high school levels, having served as a teacher, special educator, ABA behavioral therapist, and piano instructor. Her approach prioritizes creating a non-judgmental, safe, and fun learning environment. With her outgoing and friendly personality, she easily connects with students and clients alike. Sori is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling at Walden University.
